No Divisions

1 Corinthians 1

After further studies, we can come to the conclusion that the Corinthians were mostly gentiles.
So if we read it from the point of view, it clearer as to what Paul is addressing.

V 10:"...be perfectly united in mind and thought."

V5,7: "For in him you have been enriched in every way—in all your speaking and in all your knowledge... Therefore you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed."

As much as there was division in the church, Paul was thankful of God's grace given to them.
He then continues to appeal to them to be unified and stay on course.
